I love lilacs. They are extremely delicate and do not last very long (I think that these lasted about a day and a half before they began to wilt). But they smell wonderful and add such a splash of color to any room, I also love how they just naturally cascade over the vase.
In Cache Valley, where my parents live, there are huge lilac bushes in almost every ones yard. I was extremely tempted to go out after dark to people's yards with my scissors and cut huge bushels full of these lovely flowers...I never did it though, mostly because I was too tired, not because I worried about the whole trespassing thing. ;) Aren't you glad you're not my neighbor?

ReplyDeleteAwww, thanks. I didn't many pics of people on Memorial day mostly cause I have dad's camera now and it's so big, but I am getting used to lugging it around now.
