Gorsuch Jackets, T.D.F. = to die for. These jackets are simply amazing. What I wouldn't give (aside from my home, children, husband and basic freedoms) to own one of these.

I would totally wear either jacket above or below for St. Patty's Day! BTW Happy St. Patrick's Day!!!

The greens, blues and purples look perfect together in the above outfit, which would run you at least $4,000. The jacket itself is $1,298.

I am in love with the outfit above and I can't even imagine how cute that hat she is holding would look with the entire outfit. I love the jacket below with the red piping. Hugh...perfection.

I think I may like the bag even more than the jacket above.

This velvet knee length jacket oozes with old world style and class. So very in love with these clothes.

Gorsuch = "old money" fashion...

Gorsuch is one of my most favorite clothing catalogs I get in the mail. I cannot afford one thing in it (maybe a pair of socks for $30) but I still can't help falling in love with it's simplicity and absolute class. This is what I imagine "old money" wearing. ;)

I love the nautical inspired line out this Spring with it's navy blue, white, brass accents and stripes. The above outfit would run you about $1,400. To me when I think of sophisticated class I think of the outfit above.

The above shirt is a mere $388. But I love the clean lines, light fabric and big button accents.

The "Emma" outfit above would run you a cool $2,300 for the pants, white tunic, sweater and scarf. But I have to say it is understated and elegant.

The white looks so crisp and clean against the camel color belt and navy blue cardigan ($998).

One of my favorite things about the Gorsuch catalog are their absolutely stunning blazers and jackets (I am going to do a separate post on those). I am in-love with the white "Annie" linen jacket above ($1,198). There is something so beautiful about its simplicity.

The Pottery Barn Couch

I love nothing more than a comfortable couch, a couch that looks like you could fall asleep reading a good book on it. We have some big couches (my husband is a tall guy) but they have more of a Bavarian French look with wood and brown fabric. The below couches are much different than the ones I have, but one day I want a bright room to put one (any one) of the couches below in.

These couches look so comfy and the pops of color through fabric, plants, pictures and the occasional wall color are very appealing.

The room above looks like a place you could just sit and read a good book. Below is a little more formal but still beautiful.

I love the hanging lanterns, painted wall paneling along with the natural wood and subtle blue color below. Very pretty.

I am sucker for the pretty light blue and coral combination below.

I love the bold oranges above and below.

The wall color below with the red and bright white looks so crisp and clean.

Kuler is a free website created by Adobe for anyone who loves to play with color and find congruent color schemes. All you need to do is create an account with an email address and password and then you can begin creating.

You can upload any photo or image onto this site and they will create a color scheme from the colors in the image. I got the image above of the darling room via eclectic revisited. I uploaded it to Kuler and they created the color palette shown above.

With the sunshine and warm weather these last couple of days I am inspired by happy colors such as the blue, green and red shades above. Picture via eclectic revisited.

I love the beach side look above. So clean and crisp with the stripes and very simple bright color scheme.

These outdoor chairs above are amazing, once again I got this image via eclectic revisited. I love the pop of green pillows on the white chairs below. My children would d-e-s-t-r-o-y these chairs...but a girl can dream. ;)

front doors part 2...

There are so many beautiful and inspiring doors and entry ways that I had to post more. The doors below have bold accents of color and texture with plants, flowers, foliage and wreaths.

The contrast in styles of the doors above and below are so different yet equally beautiful and inviting.

I just found how I want to decorate my front porch next Christmas. The bright green accents above are so striking.

Once again, an a-typical door color that looks just perfect. The blue is a beautiful shade and I especially love the red rocking chair to the corner for another burst of color.

Love the bright white trim above and how it just bursts against the gray/blue color of the house.

The Americana style front door above is so welcoming with it's American flag, rustic wood door and bright yellow flowers. If I walked inside I would image french country decor with lots of old wood grain furniture.

The doors and entry ways above and below are so elegant. These are the style of doors that I would choose for my dream home.

A front door...

...says so much. There is nothing more inviting than a beautiful front door and aesthetically pleasing entry way.

The best thing about a front door is that you do not have to have a lot of money or be building your dream home in order to create an appealing entry way to your home. With some paint, plants, affordable hardware, light fixtures and elbow grease anyone can make their front door ooze with character and class.

I love finding doors with bold colors that enhance and elevate their surroundings. There are 'tried and true' front door colors such as white, black, red and green. I recently painted our front door green. But I love it when someone uses a very a-typical color for their front door like yellow or the minty blue color shown above.

These European front doors are amazing and I would probably give my right arm to live in any one of them...seriously, any offers?

I love the pop of red. Not only is the door red but they added red light fixtures and pots. Just looking at this front door makes me want to take a peek inside and look at how wonderfully the rest of the house is decorated.

Simplicity goes a long way. The clean earthy colors above make me think that when you walk in the door someone would hand you some hot cocoa and fluffy goose down slippers.

When, (and I say "when" in order to throw out those positive vibes to the universe) I build my dream home I think I would chose a gorgeous thick, tall solid wood door instead of a painted one. But the wonderful thing is that no matter where we go we can always buy a can of paint and create character with whatever door we have.
