We are headed to the Oregon Coast this week with the family! I am going to take oodles of pictures of the beautiful (green) scenery. Max is so excited to go crabbing with the other boys in the family. It should be an adventurous week.Hopefully I will be able to update on the way. I have my camera and my little flip video to document our journey.

Steve and I have a common dream. To one day have a barn. Not just any barn. A barn similar to the one above. I am trying to release positive energy to the Universe and maybe one day this could be possible and you ALL are invited to our Autum Harvest party (s) held in the barn, of course. ;)
You can see this barn and more here.
...to taking all 3 kids to the doctor and finding out they all have ear and sinus infections! This is what the kids looked like this afternoon after coming home from the doctors. Poor little guys. :(
I looked at real estate here in Utah daily ever since Steve and I got married, I still find myself looking at it from time to time even though we own a house, just for fun...???? A little strange I know. But I bet I could tell you Utah's real estate market trends for the last 7 years, that's how often I looked at it. Anyhow, I always look at houses for sale in our area and found this darling house West of us. I don't know who this girl is but I am tempted to knock on her door and introduce myself. Her house is darling! Here are 2 of the rooms in her house. I just love them. And the pink/red combination above is darling.
For some odd reason last night I found myself watching an old French film called Mississippi Mermaid. The name intrigued me and so did the cinematography. It had a kind of Alfred Hitchcock feel to it. It was all subtitled and reminded me of my college days when I was a bit more "cultured" (or maybe I just had more time on my hands) and watched foreign films with subtitles often.
The actress was gorgeous and I was amazed at how timeless her look was. You could have taken her out of that film and put her in a film today and the transition would have seemed flawless.
The actress was Catherine Deneuve. Absolutely stunning and again mind-boggling how current her look was even 50 years ago in 1969. I love this picture below, and love even more that dress and that heart necklace (minus the cone shaped bra of course...why was that look ever popular?).

My husband lovingly mocked me today when I told him happily that I am figuring out my style...he looked at me in all seriousness and said,
"Oh, thanK gooDness. I have been waiting soooo long for you to figure out your style...few..."
Ha! What a smart aleck. I love that he puts it all in perspective for me. Really at the end of the day it isn't that big of a deal if I've found my style or not. (but between you and me, I am still happy about it).
Above are fabrics and wallpaper from pierre-deux. Okay, I cannot be the only one who thinks that blue and yellow wallpaper is gorgeous?
