While Steve was in Brazil we had our baby! He was born July 19th ( 2 weeks early) and weighed 7 pounds, 12 ounces. Labor went well and 5 hours after my 22 year old brother drove me to the hospital we had a healthy baby boy! I think my poor brother aged about 5 years that day, but he was great and so was the rest of my family, within an hour and a half of arriving at the hospital I had my family there with me.
Steve was extremely sad to miss this event and kept telling me how sorry he was and how much he wished he were with me...needless to say Steve came home Monday morning to a brand new baby. The reunion was so sweet and he and baby bonded immediately.

I have never been one for the whole Cricket trend and vowed to myself I would never have vinyl writing on my walls anywhere in my house, no offense to anyone that has them they are just not my thing. But I found this adorable website that has some vinyl wall stuff that I actually think is quite cute. These are from an adorable store called fawn&forest.

This last weekend I was in Logan for a couple of days. While there my mom had picked a basket of Lavender and at about 10:30 that night we tried to make a Lavender wreath. It took us a while and we almost threw in the towel, but working together we made one! Yippee.
We thought it looked so simple, but of course it was way harder than it looked. But once we figured out how to do it, it was a cinch. After I have this little baby and can sit for more than 15 minutes without getting major cankles we want to make a bunch more!

Long story short, my husband arrived in Brazil with no luggage. So the family he was staying with took him shopping to find him at least one outfit. Well, when he went to the stores nothing fit (he is a head taller than most Brazilians with a more husky build) so all they could find was a huge oversized red hooded sweatshirt and tight tapered bright blue jeans (oh, and speedo feeling, according to Steve, tighty whitey underwear). He went to a movie premier and an after party dressed in these clothes! HA! He said everyone else was dressed in black and looked like they were going to some swanky club....and then there was Steve. Needless to say he stuck out like a sore thumb and they dubbed him "Mr. Incredible". HA!
Well, no one will forget who he is now. :) He got his bags the next day, few... He missed the opening night, but here are some pictures off the website, just click here.
